Under the leadership of the Minister of State Mr. Vidura Wickramanayake, the excavation work at Kurundi Padabima was started. Department of Archaeology Director General Prof. Anura Manatunga said that excavations had begun at the Kurundi Viharaya in Mullaitivu as of 18 January 2021
